This genuine Victorian, 18ct gold gilt, natural Garnet Bracelet is Circa 1900. Six strands of Garnets lead to an engraved gold gilt clasp. Garnets have been known to man for thousands of years. It is said that Noah used a Garnet lantern to help him steer his ark through the dark night. Garnets are also found in early Egyptian, Greek and Roman times. It weighs 40.3 grams. In very good condition it looks fabulous when worn. The total length is 7 inches. The clasp is 13mm across and 46mm down - that's just over 1/2 an inch by just less than 2 inches. Old Code 5923
