This genuine Victorian, Circa 1880's, Pin is a solid, hand carved, natural Opal Cherub on a gold Pin.
The natural, colourful Opal reflects a kaleidoscope of hues - blues, green, pinks, turquoise as well as an inner orange radiating from within their spheres.
All of nature's splendour seems to be reflected in the manifold opulence of the Opal - fire and lightnings, all the colours of the rainbow and the soft shine of far seas.
This beautiful Cherub Pin comes in its original box.
Pins of this calibre are highly collectable and sought after worldwide.
It weighs 3.5 grams.
In very good condition it looks gorgeous when worn.
The Pin is 60mm - that's approximately 2.5 inches.
The Opal Cherub is 16mm across and 22mm down - that's just less than 3/4 of an inch by just less than 1 inch.
