VICTORIAN SILVER LOCKET & LONG CHAIN - DATED 1882/1883

This beautiful, Victorian, sterling silver locket and long chain is dated Birmingham 1882/1883.

This really is special - the superb Victorian vertical silver workmanship on the locket is timeless.

The Locket opens and shuts securely with space for two photographs.

The locket is fully hallmarked and has the initials J.M.B

It is set on the original, long sterling silver Chain which is also fully hallmarked and has the initials B&B.

It weighs 36.7 grams.

In very good condition it looks fabulous when worn.

The Chain is 74cm long - 29 inches.

The Locket is 25mm across and 32mm down - that's 1 inch by 1 1/4inches, excluding the loop which is another 8mm.
