This amazing Victorian boxed Diamond & Green Garnet fox brooch is just outstanding.This is the first fox brooch Laurelle Ltd has had boxed from a top London jewellers originally.The Fox pin is set with over 1 ct of Diamonds that are old cuts and situated on a panel of green garnets that make the fox look like its running on grass.The Diamonds sparkle and shimmer with immense brilliance and life captivating the allure of natures beauty.Garnets are a popular talisman - a protective stone, said to protect its owner from evil and disaster.Green Garnets are much sought after and rarely seen in jewellery, they are beautiful.Green is the colour of Spring and of life.The Diamonds are set in silver and the garnets are set in 18 ct yellow gold which is the same as theoriginal pin.The brooch boasts an original pink and c catch, also a loop to add a safety chain if you wish.There are a few solder spots on the reverse of the brooch, this is minimal wear for a brooch of such age, and cannot be seen when worn.This is one to treasure as you will not see another one like this!It weighs 5.7 grams.In very good condition it looks stunning when worn. The dimensions are 60mm across at the widest part and 11mm down - that's approximately 2 1/2 inches by just under 1/2 an inch.Price:
