Scottish Citrine & Garnet Shield Brooch

This dramatic Scottish Victorian Heraldic Brooch consists of a Huge, Clear, faceted Citrine weighing approx 6 Carats.

This is claw set, and framed by a beautifully engraved silver shield which is inset with bevelled Malachite and Jasper.

The crown at the top is set with three Impressive cabochon Garnets which are collet set.

This substantial brooch is full of character, in heavy sterling silver.

The pin at the rear has a safety catch for security.

It is in excellent condition, and would be suitable for either sex as a brooch or a badge.

It measures 50mm by 38mm- that's 2 inches by 1 ½ inches.
