A gorgeous, 18ct yellow gold and silver, old cut Diamond Pendant / Brooch set on a substantial gold chain.

The centre of the Pendant / Brooch spells the word Dearest in gemstones.

D - a beautiful, old cut Diamond

E - a grassy green Emerald

A - a rich purple Amethyst

R - a rich red Ruby

E - a grassy green Emerald

S - a rich blue Sapphire

T - a rich, yellow Topaz

Old cut, natural Diamonds chase around the outer star and it boasts a Diamond set bale which is detachable so that it becomes a Brooch.

This is a very versatile 'Dearest' piece of jewellery - 'Dearest' jewellery is highly collectable and sought after worldwide.

On the reverse it has a pin and 'C' catch with a hinged double loop section - I expect this is for a safety chain to be added.

The Chain, on which it's set, has been added later.

It weighs 8.4 grams.

In very good condition it looks exquisite when worn.

The Chain measures 45cm - that's approximately 18 inches.

The dimensions are 24mm across and 36mm down - that's approximately 1 inch by approximately 1.5 inches, including bale.
