This gold gilt scarab beetle bracelet is impressive.There are 6 gold gilt scarab beetles - all are very well designed and life-like.All the beetles are linked together by sturdy links - all are 18 carat Gold on Silver.The backs of the beetles contain an upright serpent with it's tail in the air.The Scarab Beetle was treated as sacred by the Ancient Egyptians, and considered the embodiment of the God Khepri.This God was associated with birth, renewal and resurrection, and, as one of the Sun Gods, represents the dawning of the Sun. This bracelet boasts superb design and workmanship and looks impressive when worn.It weighs 38.5 grams.It measures 22cms - that 7 1/2 inches.Each scarab beetle measures 30mm across by 12mm down - that's under 1 1/4 inch by 1/2 an inch from link to link.Old Code 6824.
